Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We soaked up every bit of family time this week, my oldest and his wife came home for Christmas, the house was full, the laughter was loud, and the chaos felt just right. We spent time together, ate way too much food, and even managed to squeeze in a family escape room, which somehow reminded me how much I love being surrounded by noise, stories, and everyone talking at once. As much as life gets busy and houses get quieter as kids grow up, having everyone back under one roof meant more to me than I can put into words. Those moments, the loud ones, the messy ones, the chaotic ones, are the ones I hold closest. Now it’s time to wrap up the year and dive into all the fun happening across the East Coast NC & VA area this week.
